ikja | Kind of like: 'I don't want you, but I don't want anyone else to have you' ? Please bear in mind that I do not have the other person's TOB. So I have used midday. Synastry Composite
|
Aubyanne | Perhaps with a 2° cVESTA-VENUS in 7H, given it's the chartruler. Oh, nevermind. That requires a TOB. Still have a dual VESTA link in synastry; SUN and MARS. I have a SUN-VESTA conjunction with my Twin. The possessiveness ('devotion') I feel can certainly stem from so much VESTA. Perhaps the cVESTA-VENUS, wherever it is, still contributes to that. |
ikja | Thanks Aubyanne! My friend is just extremely annoying. He complains that our relationship hasn't been very stable (although he has helped to contribute to this). We separate and then come back together, when we do come back together... We end up being really close. Talking on the phone to eachother for hours (about nothing really). We help pick eachother's clothes. He talks to me about his girl issues (hmm) and I talk about my guy issues. We go to dinner. We talk about our careers and life goals etc. He has admitted that there are only things that I know about him that no one else does. However, when it comes to talking about an "us", I've had so many different responses from this guy that it's funny lol. I don't think I care anymore, but guaranteed... In 3 days, he will be back in my inbox wanting to talk to me all the time lol. |
athenegoddess | Yes, Venus opposition Pluto. |

Who would be the more possessive person athenegoddess? The pluto person? |
Lavender CrystalSwan | I would also think maybe the 2nd house and 8th house, and it's rulers making an aspect in synastry. |

Hi Auby, Sorry if this may be off topic but I'm curious, How does Vesta feel? Are they usually the one feeling the devotion/possessiveness/sacrificial love? |

I'm thinking the one with mercury there too but id have to look closer. |
ikja | Funnily enough, I've just realised its a double wammy. My pluto trines his venus; but his pluto opposes my venus (according to the table on astro). For me personally, I find that I'm more consistent with him. If I say I'm going to do something for him, I'll do it. But, he loves the hot and cold behaviour. Will come and go as he pleases. I have to pull him up on it. He behaves for a few months and then he tries it again. But whenever he comes back, he does try his best. Whenever it gets too deep for him, that's when he runs away. |
YellowGerbera | Oh this is a great thread! I didn't know Vesta shows possessiveness! That means I have a quite strong possessive stuff going on in my synastry then O.o His - Mine: - Pluto/SN conjunct Pluto/Vesta - Uranus/Valentine/Amor/Vesta conjunct Asc/Uranus/BML/Karma/POF Oh and my Venus trines his Vesta (2deg), and our Vesta semisquare each other (2deg). |
LeeLoo2014 | It seems there's also some Venus/Merc/Pluto in there. ------------------
I seem to have loved you in numberless forms... |

Thanks LeeLoo. How does Mercury play a part here? I can understand the pluto and venus relationship, but does his Mercury aspect suggest that he would be possessive using words, as opposed to actions? |
LeeLoo2014 | It would have been better to know what Mercury rules for him. Let's say he has a fixed, possessive mindset ------------------
